Teeth problems?

my partner has been having pains for a week now. We have been to the dentist and one of the problems is that his top jaw is pushing down unto his bottom jaw which is causing his tooth to ache and his headaches to start. At the moment the dentist has given us a mouthguard to wear but that doesnt do much. Does anyone know what to do?

Teeth problems?
what are the aother problems you speak of besides the jaw?
Reply:no

Teeth problems?

im 14 and i have a problem with my teeth the fangs are wayyy too long and they really bug me i keep biteing myself wen i eat and people are scared of me because they think im a vampire is there any solution for this?

Teeth problems?
make an appt. with your dentist. he or he can recommend someone who can shave them down. this is common for some people, and the procedure is safe.

Teeth problems?

Every morning I wake up my pillow is covered in blood. My teeth are always bleeding. Why?

I brush my teeth twice a month and I've never had this problem before.

I have a lot of cavities too.

Teeth problems?
try counting sheep when you go to sleep if they dont kick you in the mouth then you shouldnt bleed.
Reply:ewwwwww! twice a month?! your'e supposed to buush your teeth 3 times each day! brushing your teeth seldomly must be the problem!
Reply:see your dentist.......soon
Reply:U need to go to the Dentist!!!
Reply:You should be brushing your teeth 2 or 3 times per day and always before bed. Also you should be using dental floss to get clean in between your teeth and gargle with a good mouthwash or with hydrogen peroxide diluted by one-half with water.

If you are bleeding in your mouth, you need to see a dentist. Also you need those cavities fixed. You WILL regret it if you don't take care of your teeth. You will lose them and then be so very sorry. Believe me.

Good luck to you!
Reply:TWICE A MONTH???

well.....theres your problem.

try it twice a day maybe that might help.
Reply:Twice a month? I'm hoping you mean twice a day and either way, bleeding gums are a very bad sign, please go see your dentist.
Reply:It's not your teeth bleeding but your gum. You might have gingivitis (when your gum is inflamed) but there are several other possible causes for this sort of problem. It is very worrying that you bleed so much that your pillow is covered in blood and I strongly suggest that go see a dentist as soon as possible! I don't want to sound alarming but the longer you leave this the more you risk losing your teeth as gum diseases include the loosening of the supportive system surrounding the teeth.
Reply:wow. Is this is a joke? You need to start flossing and brushing your teeth. But, at this stage you should go to the dentist and get a deep cleaning and get some advice. Your gums are probably very unhealthy, causing them to bleed. It might also be a good idea to use listerine after brushing.
Reply:Are you serious? On the off chance that you are, I'll go ahead and answer. First of all, you should be brushing and flossing at least twice a DAY. In addition, you should be seeing a dental hygienist twice a year for a good cleaning and checkup. The bleeding may well be from gingivitis, periodontal disease cause by lack of proper care. You really need to have those cavities taken care of. If left unattended, the teeth can abscess and cause bad infections; plus if they're not fixed in time, you may well have to have the teeth extracted. Believe me, if you don't start taking care of your teeth, there is no question that you will regret it. Bad teeth can affect not just your dental health, but your overall health as well.
Reply:See ur dentist. Healthy gums do not bleed. It could be gum disease. Keep flossing and brushing ur teeth until u can go. But go!
Reply:Where do you get these ideas? You are such a troll... Do you have nothing better to do than post lies? Guess not, that is SO sad!

Broken Teeth

Teeth problems?

yellow teeth. [but not the yellowest]

white spots.

see-through

sensitive

droopy gums.

she just got her braces off.

tried bleaching and peroxide.

her gums turned white after that, dont ask me why because i have no clue....

any suggestions on these problems

all i have so far is see a dentist... quick lol

Teeth problems?
after having braces off, she should get a "deep cleaning" or what dentists would call an SRP(short for scaling and root planing). that should take care of her gum problem. but she should do that with a periodontist (a gum specialist). then she can take care of any cavities she may need (most of them need a lot since it's really hard to clean those teeth in between braces. lastly she can have her teeth bleached...

whitening strips will not bleach her teeth evenly. she should go to a dentist and have trays made. you can purchase the bleaching solution at your dentist's office, too.
Reply:i know how she feels. lol. for the discoloring of the teeth, have her brush them 2 times a day and get whitening strips,(crest) they work the best, honestly. and sensivity get that sencidine toothpaste. and droopy gums, that happened to me personally and they will go away, she just has to floose and brust her teeth very good. hope this helps!

Teeth problems?

teeth problems i have got a very painful tooth so i put rubbing alcohol and soaked my mouth like i heard that would stop the pain but it maid my mouth swell so now i can't open my mouth very wide at all and i have no insurance or money to go to a doctor so what should i do

Teeth problems?
Try you local Clinic most of the time they are in a partnership with dentists and or have a dentist on staff and they can get you in and get that tooth out and you can make monthly payments or it may not even cost you anything. Every major area has a clinic. Call and get that thing out.
Reply:get insurance?
Reply:get some oral gel or ambasol

it will kill the pain
Reply:For pain, you need clove oil. Go to your vitamin store. They can also give you homopathic remedies to help with your pain. You will need to go to a dentist eventually though.
Reply:go buy some orajel maximum strength gel. it works in like 20secs.
Reply:swish a solution of water and salt. it will cease the swelling and close any wound inside. whatever you do don't swallow it!
Reply:feel soorry for you. Try to save money and get it out, it usually cost around $200 to $250 if you don't have insurance.
Reply:k if your mouth is swollen you should at least get a family member or something to pay your way into the docs this could be a very serious allergic reaction
Reply:You are going to have to go to the doctor... go to an urgent care or even a western dental. i think western dental has payment plans that will help you
Reply:Call your local hospital and ask if your area has a free medical clinic. My area has one that is completely free if you are low income or don't have insurance. I think you should have it looked at.
Reply:Call different dentists' until you find one that will make payment arrangements with you. Your tooth will only get worse if you don't get it taken care of. You might even end up having to have a root canal. It could have carries (cavity) or could have a crack but take care of it the right way as soon as possible! Also, depending where you live, there are free clinics for those who do not have insurance. When you call dentists' about payment arrangements, ask about free clinics in your area as well.
Reply:If it is an infection you need to rinse with hydrogen peroxide. Also if you want to self medicate you need to find a script for amoxacillin (if your not allergic). The problem being is that there is a reason for the infection so even if you take care of the infection it will probably come back. You may have a rotting tooth, wisdom tooth coming in, cracked tooth, etc. Those are things that you can not do on your own. You should see if there is a dental clinic in your area. Those places go based on your income. Also if you go see a dentist it may not be as expensive as you think and a lot of dentist will let you make payments.
Reply:I use Listerine and not only does it kill the germs, but also numbs your mouth so you don't feel the pain. If I hove a sore tooth it usually only takes a few days to start to feel better. I don't know where you heard to use rubbing alcohol, but please don't do it again. The alcohol in the Listerine is the same type of alcohol, but it is diluted. Please use Listerine or a generic version next time.

Teeth Problems?

hey

ive got a few cracked teeth.. at least thats what i think it is, my two bottom front teeth have lines down them, one tooth which is the worst as its the only one that hurts, has two lines :O and it hurts so bad when i just gently scrape my teeth on the top of it. what is this?

the tooth also has this white mark inside of it???

i also have brown stains between the teeth, which is spreading is this lack of flossing or decay?? anyways im going to the dentist monday for a checkup,

but could you please give me any advice on what the problems is?

Thanks!

Teeth Problems?
The brown staining could be because of the things that you are drinking such as tea for example.

The dentist will be able to try and help you figure out what all is going on.
Reply:It depends on what happened to your teeth beforehand and what your hygenal habits are.

A lack of hygiene is most likely the result, but it could also be what you ate that may have caused these problems, because what you put in your mouth will affect your hygiene for the rest of your life.

So brush up on the facts, and go see your dentist.

Good luck
Reply:If you trully had a cracked tooth, you wouldn't be writing as you'd be in great pain because you may have biten into something that contained a piece of metal or stone.

You need your teeth cleaned for one thing, X rays to make sure that there aren't any cavities and these things don't hurt.

The stains could be from coffee, tea, food or cigarettes. You may have a couple of cavities that need to be filled.
