Yes, it can strip the enamel on your teeth, therefore can cause your teeth to look transparent in some places - unhealthy and a bad sign. Could also cause sores on the inside of your mouth and your tongue. Be careful when using them. I'd get recommended advice from your dentist or other health care professoinal before taking them on.
Has teeth whitening strips caused problems in the mouth?
Over using them can cause ulcers on the gums, but if you use it normally you shouldn't have any problems. I used one kind that made my gums itch insanely, but I withstood it for the whole 20 mins. It didn't do any damage to my mouth at all.
Reply:yes. if you do it at too young of an age *before you're 18* it can strip your enamal, the coating on your teeth. It can cause harm to your teeth.
Reply:i used them and it irritated my gums a bit. nothing big. but sometimes your teeth can be a little more sensitive with hot and cold sensations.
Reply:I never had sensitive teeth until I used them, use with caution.
