3yr old has teeth problems?

my little one has to have caps, I have been taking care of his teeth even before they were in. does anyone know why this happens?

3yr old has teeth problems?
yep, same thing w/ my 4yr old. his dentist ask me if I had blood sugar problem while I was pregnant...I did...hypoglycemia. also, if he has ever had to do breathing treatments for asthma or bronchial problems...yes and yes. very sad that the health and drug admin cannot help a pregnant woman take some sort of supplement. you can take a pill for HIV. herpies and such and no-one would ever know you were infected, but our babies will open there mouths to speak or smile and instantly be judged for having bad teeth...it is not right. well, hope my rambling was helpful. hang in there, maybe the perm teeth are going to be beautiful!!
Reply:Sounds like "Nursing Bottle Mouth." Even if you stopped doing this, I'd bet you let your child go to sleep with a bottle of milk or juice. They wake up on day and - BAMM - they have a mouth full of cavities.
Reply:Even if you brush your little one's teeth regularly there could be not enough flouride in your drinking water, also were you flossing his teeth as well? The biggest cause of cavities in small kids is usually letting them have juice in sippy cups or bottles, too much sugar and candy and not enough calcium in the diet. Talk with the hygenist at the dentist's office to see if they can give you pointers and tips - they really do help!
Reply:My nephew lost all of his top teeth as a toddler. It was bottle rot. The thing is that he never had a bottle in his life, he was always breast fed. I know that the calcium in the milk can sometimes have a bad effect on teeth, as does, of course, sugar. Sometimes it just happens, no matter how well we take care of their teeth.
Reply:Ask the dentist.
Reply:I agree w/ Dr. Sam. I wouldn't worry about it too much as long as you're aware of the problem now and taking steps to correct it %26amp; prevent it from happening again. Your son's baby teeth are only temporary. I would ask your dentist, though, if there's been any damage to the potential adult teeth that will eventually come in. My son has tooth "issues" and I was told by a dentist not to worry about it until his adult teeth come in fully.
Reply:That is weird but my sister is the same age and she can never go to bed if she dose she will wake up every five minutes for a drink. So go to the dentist or the doctor and get medicine. If that dose not work they will have to do surgery.
Reply:i agree with the prior answerer. They just have to wait and get their permanent teeth, because their baby teeth are not heathy enough to not have caps.
Reply:There is no easy answer to this question, especially without actually seeing the child. I would suggest you talk to your dentist to find out what they think is causing the problem - it could be caused by environmental exposures, birth defect, heredity, ph levels, diet, disease...the list goes on.

If you can pinpoint the cause with your dentist, hopefully you will be able to avert the issue when your child's adult teeth come in.
Reply:Caps on baby teeth?? You got taken BIG time.

Those teeth are going to be gone soon.
