I have a gum disease and my teeth are rotting away. I look and feel gross because of this. I don't have dental insurance or alot of money. Is there anyone who can help me fix my teeth for cheap? I am sick alot and i am sure i have infections all through my body because of this. HELP!!!! I am only 38 years old and used to love to smile but can't anymore cause it is disgusting and i don't want people to see my mouth.

Help with teeth problems????
Contact your local or state dental association and and see if there are any dentists who provide free or reduced cost care for low-income, disabled or senior patients.

Call your local health department and ask about health centers that provide dental care for free or on a sliding scale.

Your local United Way may also be aware of such a clinic. In some areas, you can reach them now by dialing 2-1-1 for "non-emergency information."

Go to a dental school, if there is one near you, for reduced costs.

Check http://www.toothwoman.net to see if low-cost or free dental services are available near you.

Check http://bphc.hrsa.gov and choose "Find a Health Center" to see if there is a low-cost clinic near you.

Check http://www.nfdh.org/DDS.html to see if your state has a "Donated Dental Services" program. D.D.S. is designed to locate dentists who will give free care to patients who are financially compromised due to medical problems. This is a process that will take a couple of months to get your information and then arrange for someone to see you. Not all states have D.D.S. programs.
Reply:You'd be advised not to ignore the advice given while you're waiting to see a dentist! Report It

Reply:You need to use Listerine everyday and I don't know where you live but that place called Western Dental or Access Dental is cheap and they do payment plans. I would also get a bottle of a good multi vitamin
Reply:I had something similar and had to pay a lot to get my teeth cleaned. Find a cheap place and definitely get them done at least once a year (cause that's what keeps the infections away and like you said they lead to other health problems). My dentist also told me to floss EVERYDAY and use mouth wash. That will also help A LOT trust me.

Also if you have extra time I'd look for a job to cover some of the costs or gives you dental insurance. I know it's hard but your health is important.
Reply:there is a great site for discounts. They have dental plans for 12.00 for a single person and you save upto 80% on the cost

email me toothpositive@yahoo.com.They cover cosmetic, bleaching, and a lot of other things as well
Reply:Totally understand, for the sickness, Listerine is good. Also, vitamin C and a multi... Always rinse w/List. after eating or drinking, use a tongue cleaner every day, DON'T eat crunchy food where your teeth are broken, try to cook everything soft... That stuff will help with the infections and pains, I swear... For the actual Dental care; check into dental plans instead of insurance.. They're much cheaper! Also, dental schools might help... Lastly, since teeth are for life, it's not so bad to actually spend on them and many dentists have payment plans if your credit's okay... You have no idea how much I empathize with you! Peace! P.S. all the plans I've checked out do cover everything not cosmetic!!! didn't want the answerer below me to throw you off!
Reply:Well, you can try that cheap dental insureance, but sometimes they dont cover major work, or you can try to go to a Dental school near you, if any. Their students are always looking for patients to work on. It alot cheaper that most dental offices, but there may be a waiting list. Good Luck !!
