Does pregnancy bring on teeth or gum problems? Are they inter-related?
Has anyone experienced teeth or gum problems?
Sure pregnancy can bring on all sorts of symtoms that seem unrelated. Mayn women experience bleeding and sensitive gums during pregnancy. It has to do with the elevated hormone levels. A visit to the dentist during pregnancy especially when you are having such symtoms is in order. You should also be watching your diet as the vitamins you ingest aren't just for baby but to keep up your own health. Also taking care of your teeth and gums is very important especially during pregnancy as your body is under a lot of pressure during this time. Brush and floss especially if your gums are giving you problems... could be you aren't flossing frequently enough. Good luck. :o)
Reply:Yes, I had bad bleeding gums when pregnant.
