I am lactose intolerant and with my last child he drained all my calcium from me. My teeth are pretty bad, I mean a cavity in every toothe but about 6.
Can anyone recommend anything to possibly help with this pregnancy?
Teeth problems?
Perhaps a really good blocking toothpaste, and calcium tablets? I know the feeling I am 22 weeks pregnant and I can run my tongue over my teeth adn feel the holes! I have started taking pregnancy multivitamins that have calcium in them.
Reply:I would say you should talk to your dentist but until then maybe you could try a calcium supplement!
Reply:talk to your dr. about taking more calcium ..i am on a lactose free prenatal pill with extra calcium good luck :)
Reply:the baby does not drain your calcium, you more then likely had the cavities before hand and your hormones are making them more sensitive. I would make an appointment get every thing done that needs to get fixed.avoid whiting toothpaste and mouth washes the destroy your enamel which makes it easier to get cavities and continue taking your vitamins.
Reply:Teeth problems are very common in pregnancy, like bleeding gums and cavities. Make regular visits to the dentist and talk to your ob about calcium supplements
