15 month old daughter and teeth questions, Help!?

My daughter is 15 months and has a serious underbite, (her bottom teeth and top teeth dont align right, the bottom are way in front of the top) i know that it is defintly too early to determine what kind of tooth problems your child will have when the baby teeth fall out and new ones grow in but im just so curious to know if any parents out there have been thru the same situation and i want to know the outcome. Did the child need braces at an older age? Did it go away once new teeth grew in? I took my daughter's pacifier away at 4 months because i didnt want her to get stuck on it and end up having bad teeth! Do you think this has anything to do with it? Please give some advice. Thanks.

Children need to see a dentist at 2 years, just to get them used to seeing a dentist, and the dentist can usually tell you then if there is going to be any serious problems and may even be able to tell you how to avoid them.

I wish I could tell you something else but My kids have been seeing a dentist since the were 2. And my dentist has always been able to predict any problems.
Reply:Her jaw is still forming, you wont be able to tell if she needs braces or not until her permenant teeth come in. It will still be a couple of years after that because the teeth have to shift into their correct place.
