If my wisdom teeth aren't given me any problems-why do I have to get them extracted?

Could they crowd my other teeth? But wouldn't this hurt if they were doing this- is this a way to get money out of me?

If my wisdom teeth aren't given me any problems-why do I have to get them extracted?
Wisdom teeth branh out like the roots of a tree as they grow. So if you don't get them removed now, you will have to get them removed when they cause problems, and that WILL HURT, but only if you wait to long!
Reply:There is usually no need to pull them until they get cavities, infected.
Reply:Wisdom teeth may never hurt when coming in, but over the years they slowly crowd your front teeth. Most people do not have room for them and most of the time they are not ever going to even erupt b/c they are impacted, so they need to be removed. If you leave them impacted, they can kill other teeth, form tumors, cause infections, and are very difficult to remove later in life. Also, even if they do erupt properly, most people cannot keep them clean enough to prevent cavities and bone loss. Gum disease or cavities usually causes removal of these teeth later and then it is more difficult to remove them later in life. Waiting years to have them removed can result in nerve damage, bone loss, and severe bruising and swelling.
Reply:The wisdom teeth make your mouth too crowded; and trust me, as they grow, itll hurt much more. The surgery isnt painfull cause ur asleep, but it pays off in the end. If you wait until your older, the after effects of surgery will hurt even more! Im actually getting mine removed next month. =X
Reply:If your wisdom teeth come in fine and you dont have any problems you dont have to have them extracted ,but it is usually harder to cleanse these teeth because they are so far back in the mouth so they are more likely to get cavities so be very meticulous about keeping them clean .If you have no trouble dont worry about them .
