before i first found out i was preg. i had tooth problems, went got xrays and they told me my wisdom teeth are growing in, now im having tooth pains again with the same teeth, could i be preg. again?
has anyone else had this happen
When you were pregnant did you suddenly get tooth problems?
yes i had perfect teeth, and im dead serious about this too, until i became pregnant.the first 2 months alone i started getting cavitys, bleeding gums and my wisdom started coming in when i was about 4 months pregnant, and there wasnt a thing i could do about it!!!
Reply:I had an absessed tooth and had to have it pulled, it was very early in my pregnancy tho
Reply:Yes I had to have some teeth pulled because of it. Make sure you get plenty of calcium and take care of your teeth.
Reply:i didnt have tooth problems but my gums did bleed a lot when i brushed my teeth.
Reply:If you didn't have them removed then they will continue to cause you problems from time to time. It's not an indication you are pregnant but pregnancy gingivitis is a common problem for mothers to be, it's cause by changing hormones.
Reply:i used to have great teeth until i had kids they seem to hurt and get cavaties and all the good stuff in life when i am prego maybe u r maybe not never hurts to have a test
Reply:My teeth started going to hell the day I found out I was pregnant with my first baby. Seriously...it seems like I was constantly running to the dentist to have a cavity filled. At this point, I think I have more filling material in my mouth than actual teeth! Thank God for the enamel filling material...can you imagine what I would look like with a mouth full of amalgm fillings? LOL From what my dentist told me, it's very common/normal. It has something to do with hormones and the amount of saliva your mouth produces. Apparently pregnant women salivate more, and that affects their teeth negatively.
Reply:Yes. A baby can take your vitamins, iron, about all these things you need. Keep up with the dentist and take your vitamins.
My little angel took it all out of me and my teeth just started getting really bad. Not unusual but not good either. Just keep up and you will be alright.
Reply:that's why it's important to take your pre-natal vitamens and drink lots of milk!
