Broken wisdom teeth?

I have had one wisdom tooth for 5 yrs now that has been breaking off in chunks. There is very little of it left out side the gum, the second tooth which I have now had over a year is also breaking off in chunks. I can't afford to see the dentist so I have been surviving on orajel and softer food. Recently I have been getting headaches, could this be caused by the teeth? Is there a safe way that I could remove them myself? I have heard that teeth problems can cause death, and am worried that if they don't come out...


No dentist in my area will take payments and I don't have the 700 or so dollars to get it done! Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

hi buddy, seems like the tooth has got necrosed and it's infected, and it's spreading. it can be be the reason of ur headache, if the infection is spreading, well, there is no way that self extraction can be done,. it is dangerous as well as impossible because a lot of nerve and blood vessels pass through the area which needs to be anesthetised before the extraction is performed and a single mistake done during the time, can result in even paralysis. so, it's better that it be done by a professionally qualified person, the only treatment for ur teeth at present seems to be extraction, though a course of antibiotics may help but only for a short duration, dologel is just an analgesic, it is not treatting ur tooth or infection, it is just masking the symptoms and making the things worse for u. better you go for an antibiotic therapy for 5 days so that the symptom subsides and after that go for an extraction. if u can't afford to go to a dentist, u can check out in general hospital in your area, extraction is considered an emergency treatment and is usually free in general hospitals.......

Reply:You might get an infection. The headaches can be caused by the bad teeth. Is there a free clinic in your area? 700 dollars seems really high for just an extraction. You might try to find a cheaper dentist. If you cannot get it removed right now, at least get a prescription to stop the infection. If the tooth enamel is down below the gum line, there is no way you can remove them yourself. Have you tried asking any charities for help, like salvation army, helping hand?
Reply:It's hard to believe no dentists will take monthly payments!! Yes, of course, this is dangerous to your health.... those teeth must come out, but don't even consider doing that yourself. No way !!Call one of the agencies that are committed to helping people... like the United Way. They can possibly help you find a dentist who will accept low payments. Good luck.... but please, get those teeth removed ASAP.
Reply:That's a tough situation. Is there anyway that you can get state insurance or anything. It's a serious situation and the headachs are cause by that. They can get really infected and it could become serious. Some dentist accept a small amount up front and then you can pay the rest another times. Especially if it' for a large aount. Please get it checked out. If you teeth are breaking off then they are rotten or infected so PLEASE don't give up on a place
Reply:just go to social services to get an affordable one... extracting a worse tooth is good opition for 300 dollars it wont be 700

Contact your county's department of social services. If you are low-income, then they can get you in to see an oral surgeon to get them pulled. You can also see if you have a college/university near you that has a dental school:

You can't go on with this. You have to have things taken care of. No, you can't take care of this by yourself. This is a surgery you're talking about, here. You most likely need an oral surgeon.





It sounds to me like your problem may be getting worse. Infection or something? I let my problem go, and ended up with an infection inside the jaw bone that took 3 diferent specialists to cure me.





You HAVE to get this done. See if Social Services can help. This could conceivably end up in an infection so bad that you could die.

#2 figure how much of your savings you can use as an inital


down payment.


#3 figure how much free time you could donate doing work for


someone else. (can you do odd jobs ect. on saturdays etc)


#4 Go to the pastor of your local church


#5 explain your problem %26amp; ask him if he knows anyone who would be willing to help you with a private loan.


or if he would put your request for help in the church bullitin.


#6 also make sure he knows how much you can give


as a down payment and how much you can pay per month


and what work you could do to help pay off the Loan.





#7 dont be ashamed to go to your church or anyone else


and ask for help people helping each other makes for a community.
